There are no permits to cover these additions and Yavapai County continues to tax the home with 1080 sq. ft.In 2004, the present owner, with City of Sedona permits, added the garage of 401 sq. ft. plus the studio and 3/4 bath above the garage of 551 livable sq. footage. An appraisal in 2004 calculated the total livable sq. footage as 2143 sq. ft. The City calls the addition above the garage a studio & does not recognize it as a bedroom.
